Kineza – Our treatments
Discover our range of general and specialized physiotherapy treatments in Nossegem, Zaventem: rehabilitation, manual therapies, specialized techniques, prevention, and well-being — all tailored to your needs.

Manual Therapies
Manual therapy
A hands-on approach where the physiotherapist uses specific techniques to treat joints and muscles. Manual therapy can help reduce pain, improve mobility, and speed up recovery. In addition to mobilizations and manipulations, exercises and home programs may also be part of the treatment. This allows you to move more freely again and return to your daily activities without pain.
Manual lymphatic drainage and pressotherapy
Besides blood circulation, our body also has a lymphatic system. When this system doesn’t work properly, swelling (edema) may occur in an arm or leg, often after surgery or due to certain conditions.
With manual lymphatic drainage, we use gentle massage techniques to stimulate lymph flow and reduce fluid retention. This relieves heaviness, reduces pain, and improves mobility. The treatment can also be supported by the Lympha-mat (a pressotherapy device that works with a special sleeve or trousers), helping you feel lighter, more comfortable, and more mobile in everyday life.
Trigger points (muscle knots)
Trigger points are small, painful spots in a muscle that can cause local pain or radiate to other areas (e.g. neck tension leading to headaches).
With targeted pressure techniques, we release muscle knots, improve circulation, reduce pain, and restore flexibility.

Rehabilitation
Orthopedic rehabilitation
Support for musculoskeletal problems such as joint issues, back and neck pain, or after orthopedic surgery.
Through specific exercises and mobilizations, we help reduce pain, restore mobility, and strengthen muscles, so you can gradually get back to your daily activities.
Pre- and post-operative rehabilitation
After surgery or immobilization, pain, loss of strength, and reduced mobility are common.
Gentle mobilizations, pain-relieving techniques, and tailored exercises help your body recover faster and better, giving you the confidence to move again and return to your normal rhythm.
Post-Traumatic rehabilitation
For injuries such as fractures, sprains, or muscle tears, we guide your recovery with targeted techniques and exercises so you can use the affected area again smoothly and without relapse.
Sports rehabilitation
Sports injuries require a tailored approach depending on the sport you practice.
We combine manual therapy with sport-specific exercises to improve mobility, strength, and stability. This ensures a safe return to sport and helps prevent new injuries.
Cardiorespiratory rehabilitation
For heart or lung conditions such as COPD or after cardiac surgery, we provide adapted breathing and endurance training. This makes breathing easier, improves stamina, and enhances quality of life.

Specific Conditions
Geriatrics (age-related conditions)
Physiotherapy support for older adults with reduced mobility, balance problems, or decreased independence.
We work on gait rehabilitation, fall prevention, and functional exercises to help maintain quality of life and independence for as long as possible. Home sessions are also possible if needed
Neurological conditions
For conditions such as Parkinson’s, multiple sclerosis (MS), or after a stroke, we focus on mobility, coordination, and strength. With targeted exercises and guidance, we help maintain or improve function, supporting independence in daily life.
Dizziness and balance disorders (BPPV)
For benign positional vertigo, we use specific head and body exercises to retrain the balance system. This reduces dizziness and restores stability.

Specialized Techniques
Shockwave therapy
A technique that delivers sound waves deep into the tissue to treat stubborn tendon or muscle problems.
It stimulates the natural healing process and helps relieve complaints such as tennis elbow, heel spur, or Achilles tendon issues.
Scar treatment with SkinTonic
Scars can limit mobility and cause tension or swelling.
With the SkinTonic device (using vacuum massage), we treat scar tissue in depth, making it more flexible and restoring mobility in surrounding structures.
Classical taping & kinesiotaping
Classical (rigid) taping can temporarily stabilize or protect a joint, for example after a sprain or during sports.
Kinesiotaping uses elastic tapes that support muscles and joints without fully restricting movement. This relieves pain, guides motion, and promotes recovery.

Prevention & Well-Being
Prevention of sports and work-related injuries
With advice and exercises, we teach you how to use your body effectively in sports or at work. This reduces the risk of injury and keeps you active for longer without pain.
Ergonomics and posture advice
Poor posture or work setup can cause pain and overstrain. We give practical tips and exercises to reduce strain on your body and prevent complaints.
